If you are currently enrolled student and are getting an error accessing the databases:

  1. Please report this error to us so we can investigate the source of the problem.
  2. While we are investigating the issue, please try the following workaround to temporarily access the databases

You will need to log into the Citadel's VPN (Virtual Private Network). What this does is by logging into the VPN, your computer is assigned an IP address that makes the database think you are on campus.

The log in and directions are available here:

http://www.citadel.edu/root/accounts-passwords/vpn

You may need to clear through some security exceptions with your browser to access it. Just accept any security warnings that may pop up.

Once you log in using your Lesesne Gateway username and password, simply go to our homepage to access the database you are trying to get to. You will not be prompted to log into anything as the database will think you are accessing it from a computer on campus.

VPN sessions last for 2 hours at a time, so if you are logged into it for more than 2 hours you may need to reconnect.
