The name given to The Citadel mascot, an English bull dog. It was named after Col. Courvoisie, the former deputy Commandant who is known as "The Boo." Boo I served as a mascot for 14 years. Boo II served for six years until killed on September 6, 1998, in a car accident in Murrells Inlet. Boo III was a 6 month old pup in September 1998. Boo V was born on September 30, 2003, and was donated by Citadel alumnus Fred Ducker, Class of 1963. Boo V comes from a long line of bulldogs that have served The Citadel.
